FASSCO F-220 Standard Quality

Since more than 80 years we manufacture knives for paper cutting machines from inlaid tool steel.

The quality of the hardened cutting steel is well-proved and suitable for universal use.

  • The inserted steel is wider than reset in cutting machine. Therefore a lot of knives have 2 or 3 rows of holes.
  • If knife will be reground properly, it maintains its straightness until used up.

FASSCO F-8000 TUNGSTEN CARBIDE

We recommend this well-known quality for cutting quantities of always same kind of paper.

Please take into consideration:

  • worn-out of tungsten carbide is max. 25 mm.
  • after repeated regrinding knives have to be redressed.

The total costs are higher than for all other qualities. Therefore costs and efficiency should be compared.

High Carbon - High Chrome Solid Steel

This quality - world-wide proved - will be used in shearing cut only (Upper and lower knives).

All trimming knives should have parallelism max. 0,01 - 0,02 mm
(.0004" - .0008").

Powder Material (solid steel)

Differnet paper qualities are increasingly require more efficient materials.

The powdermetallurgic produce FASSCO MULTI CUT qualities distinguish a much higher endurance compared to conventional steel qualities.
